Conversational Analytics

Ask your business data a question in plain English, and get an answer.

A natural-language layer over an analytics system that lets non-technical people query data by asking questions instead of writing reports or formulas. Built on an emerging standard that connects language models to real tools and data, so answers come from live figures rather than guesses.

Valuable data sits behind dashboards and query languages that only specialists can operate. The distance between a business question and a real answer is simply too long.

I connected a language model to a live analytics platform through a tool-integration protocol, and grounded every answer in retrieved data. The instructive part was less about the model and more about reality: the biggest gap was between what people assumed the data contained and what it actually held.

A working proof that plain-language access to structured data is viable — plus a clear-eyed understanding of where such systems really break, which is data modeling, not language.
